12/12/2023 0 Comments Divinity original sin 2 bless spellTo increase the number of Source points you can hold (up to a maximum of three) players must seek out powerful Sourcerers for their aid as part of the Powerful Awakening quest. Source fountains are renewable means of replenishing source points. They can be found in the Decrepit Ruins in Act I, under Meistr Siva's house in Act II, and in Arhu's prison in Act IV.Absorb souls from soul jars, you can find those soul jars in quest Withermoore's Soul Jar and The Cursed Ring. Some skills can also grant you source points, such as Source Vampirism. For example, in first chapter, there is a pool of source water in The Hollow Marshes and another in Necromancer's Tower. In Divinity Original Sin 2, there are some areas covered with source water, let your characters stand on them and you will gain source points.Using the skill will use up the source power. To obtain source you must have already removed your collar. The first place to acquire source points is in the hidden cave/vault with the soul-jars afterwards it can be obtained by stepping in green glossy puddles of Source or consuming spirits. Use these skills wisely to absolutely devastate your foes. These skills are very powerful and have limited uses due to the scarcity of Source Points. Plus enemies spam Curse like crazy and they don't seem to need Source to do it.Source Skills (not to be confused with Sourcery Skills) in Divinity Original Sin 2 are a new type of skill that require Source Points to use. The AP cost alone balances the ability well enough imo. Im sure you dont care anymore, but if anyone finds this then heres the solution. Not sure how to get Bless back, but you can get rid of petrify with Armor of Frost. Craftable by combining 1 of each non source skillbooks: Necromancy, Pyrokinetic, Hydrosophist. The AP cost and cooldowns are unchanged, but the source cost of Bless has been removed. It still costs 1 of your 4 action points to cast and it doesn't remove cursed surfaces (it just uncurses them), so I never felt like I was cheating or breaking the game. I think this is a bug, Im not sure if its tied to mods or not but it happened to a couple of my characters too. A craftable skillbook that teaches both Bless and Curse. I know not everyone likes playing with mods, but if you want to actually use the Bless skill and have fun, I'd recommend getting a mod for it. I much prefer it as an innate skill like Source Vampirism which I can use whenever I want. I basically only equipped it when I was required to use it to progress. In my first two playthroughs I barely used it since I used the memory slot for other spells. It's fun, doesn't break the game and doesn't cost me any memory or source points I'd rather use on more impactful abilities. I have Bless as a situational option to help combat cursed stuff or a few debuffs, plus I can Bless surfaces for situational benefits (like blessing oil to Fortify my party after they're hit with a fossil strike). I'm on my third playthrough and installed a mod to make Bless cost 0 memory and 0 source points.
